SHERMAN 0AKS—On Saturday, November 28, at approximately 7:40 a.m., a suspicious package was found at Westfield Fashion Square. The Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the call.

The mall was closed and the police evacuated employees. Riverside Drive between Woodman and Hazeltine was temporarily closed while the police investigated the suspicious package.

It was determined that the package was an egg wrapped in duct tape with “Stop Christmas” written on it and that the package was deemed harmless.
