CYPRESS – ”In accordance with the deadline to do taxes approaching, the Orange County – Deaf Equal Access Foundation will be holding an event to help the deaf and hard of hearing community understand how to do their taxes. The tax deadline is on April 15.
The Tax Time workshop will provide assistance with filling federal and state tax forms. OC – DEAF will be holding two workshops; the first will be on March 12 and the second on March 19; those who wish to attend the event are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible for an appointment, OC-DEAF warns that the spots ‘fill up quickly.’ Both workshops will start at 1:00 p.m. and continue until 3:30 p.m.
The events will be located at OC-DEAF headquarters at 6022 Cerritos Avenue in Cypress, CA. When heading to the event, don’t forget to bring forms used from 2013, social security card, an ID card or Driver’s License, and other tax forms you may have such as W-2’s, 1099’s C-EZ’s, rental credits, etc.
