BEVERLY HILLS—Singer Taylor Swift has sold one of her homes in Beverly Hills for $2.65 million. Swift purchased the property in 2012, while waiting for her newly built Beverly Hills home to be completed.
Swift purchased the mid-century styled home for $1.4 million. The one level, 2,950 square foot house has four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. The living room is equipped with wooden bookshelves mounted on the wall and a fireplace. The kitchen has black tiled flooring, stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, and a climate controlled wine cellular that can hold up 1,000 bottles of wine. There is a lounge pool in the backyard with a wooden sundeck.
The house was originally listed on the market in March 2018 with an asking price of $2.95 million. It was taken off the market in April and relisted in May for $2.85 million.
According to reports, Swift rarely lived in the home and used it as a guest house for friends and family to stay in. The singer is currently on her “Reputation” tour, but resides in her in Beverly Hills home which she purchased in 2015 for $25 million.
The 28-year-old star first rose to fame as a country singer in 2006 when she released her first single “Tim McGraw,” later that year she released her debut album titled “Taylor Swift.” Throughout the years, Swift transitioned from her country roots into pop styled music and has released a total of six albums.
Her latest album “Reputation” sold over 1 million copies in the United States within its first four days of release. Throughout her career, Swift has won 10 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year for both “Fearless” and “1989.”
