BEVERLY HILLS—The City of Beverly Hills hosted the final teen event of the school year for students in grades sixth through eighth at the baseball diamond at La Cienega Park.

The annual “Teen Night Out” event is a part of the City’s Teen Advisory Committee (TAC). The program encourages students in Beverly Hills to be more active in local government. TAC members meet monthly to share experiences and ideas of other like-minded students from other schools. Last week’s event included an obstacle course, a bounce house, movie and a variety of interactive group games.

Students interested in participating in future events for the 2014-2015 school year are invited to join the Teen Advisory Committee. The Community Services Department is currently accepting application at the moment. To apply, contact 310-285-6820 or visit www.beverlyhills.org/teen.
