After converting a bungalow into their ice cream shop in October 2018, Ample Hills Creamery is shutting its doors after struggling to compete with adjacent creameries. According to Fundera.com, approximately 30 percent of all small businesses fail in their second year. Ample Hills Creamery succumbed to the struggle of small business as it was surrounded by ice cream shops such as Jeni’s and Supercool Creamery.
On an Instagram post about the closure, Ample Hills Creamery indicated that it hopes to retry in an area in Southern California with less competition.
“We continue to look forward to existing and new expansion opportunities in the Southern California market and promise to stay in touch.”
