BEVERLY HILLS—Actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish, 43, was arrested by officers with the Beverly Hills Police Department on Friday, November 24, after reports of a person asleep in their vehicle, TMZ first reported.

Authorities received a call after 5:45 a.m. of an individual asleep at the wheel near Beverly Drive, with the vehicle running. She was taken into custody without incident and booked for DUI and improper stopping. Haddish was previously arrested for a DUI in Atlanta, Georgia in 2022 for a similar situation. In August 2022, she was sued for alleged grooming and sexual abuse alongside comedian Aries Spears. The lawsuit was later dismissed by the ‘Jane Doe’ in the case.

She performed at The Laugh Factory in West Hollywood on Thursday night. She had another show at The Laugh Factory in Long Beach, California on Friday that she attended hours after her arrest.

The comedian and actress grew to fame with her role in the 2017 comedy “Girls Trip” alongside Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith and Regina Hall. A sequel to the comedy is currently in development. Haddish has also starred in the films: “The Haunted Mansion,” “Night School,” “Nobody’s Fool” and “Like A Boss.” She won a Grammy Award in 2020 for Best Comedy Album “Black Mitzvah.”
