BEVERLY HILLS—Todd Johnson has been named the new Executive Director of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce. His term will begin on Tuesday, July 28.

Johnson formerly served the Chamber of Commerce as a member and president of the board. He is also the General Manager of The Grill on the Alley, a steakhouse in Beverly Hills, and has over 28 years of experience in restaurant management. Johnson recently posted about his new position on Facebook, proclaiming, “And so it begins! Excited and ready for this new challenge!!”

Johnson replaces former Executive Director Alexander Stettinski, who previously served over four years. Stettinski announced his resignation on July 7, after being offered the position of Vice President of Operations & Strategic Planning for the organization Visit West Hollywood.

According to the Los Angeles Business Journal, Stettinski joined the chamber in 2011.  During his term, the Chamber of Commerce increased its membership from 590 to over 850. Stettinski was given a farewell reception on July 15, and received recognition from the Mayor of Beverly Hills and the Beverly Hills City Council on July 21.
