HOLLYWOOD—I thought “Toy Story 4” might have a bit of competition at the box-office this weekend, but was I ever wrong. For the second consecutive weekend, the animated sequel ruled the box-office adding another $57 million to its total. After 10 days in theaters, the sequel has amounted over $236 million at the domestic box-office.

The next chapter in the “Annabelle” franchise, “Annabelle Comes Home” debuted in second place with $20.3 million. Hmm, not the most impressive considering that the horror franchise has done quite while in the past with “The Conjuring,” “The Conjuring 2,” “Annabelle” and “Annabelle: Creation.”

The musical comedy “Yesterday,” which has been heavily advertised debuted in third place with an impressive $17 million for the weekend. “Aladdin” fell to fourth place with $9.3 million bringing its domestic tally to over $300 million after being in theaters 6 weeks. Rounding out the top five was “The Secret Life of Pets 2” with $7 million. The sequel has since earned over $130 million at the domestic box-office.

Audiences shouldn’t expect any major flicks this holiday weekend, but there is a major hero taking theaters by storm on July 2 with “Spider-Man: Far From Home.” Yes, I expect this movie to do big business and dare I say this is the ONLY movie I’m actually looking forward to this summer. That is not a good sign America, for the next 6-8 weeks.
