BEVERLY HILLS—The city of Beverly Hills are noting road closures and detours that will be in play throughout the city for the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards which will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the famed Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The Beverly Hills Police Department is deploying additional staff and security measures this year to ensure a safe and secure site, utilizing the latest technology and best practices for high profile events. Road closures will be set up on Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevards with access provided only to local residents and to the Los Angeles Country Club members. Alternate east-west routes include: S. Santa Monica, Olympic, Pico and Sunset Boulevards.

Partial closures will be established on Trenton, Whittier, Carmelita, Elevado and Lomitas, with access granted only to residents. All north/south streets east of Bedford Drive will remain open. Parking restrictions will be imposed on all affected streets:

Santa Monica Blvd.

Westbound: complete closure from Wilshire Boulevard to Century Park East from 9:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5 through 4:00 a.m. on Monday, January 8.

Eastbound: complete closure from Century Park East to Wilshire Boulevard from 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6 through 4:00 a.m. on Monday, January 8.

Wilshire Blvd.

Westbound: Closure from S. Santa Monica Boulevard to Beverly Glen Boulevard from 7 a.m. on Sunday, January 7 to 1:00 a.m. on Monday, January 8.

Eastbound: closure from Beverly Glen Boulevard to Santa Monica Boulevard with local access provided to residents in the 10200-10300 blocks of Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles from 7 a.m. on Sunday, January 7 to 1:00 a.m. on Monday, January 8.

Whittier Dr.

North/South: Limited closure between Wilshire and Sunset Boulevards with local access to residents only from 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 7 through 1:00 a.m. on Monday, January 8. Alternate Routes: All north/south streets east of Bedford Drive will remain open.

Trenton Dr.

Northbound: complete closure at Wilshire Boulevard from 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 7 through 1:00 a.m. on Monday, January 8. Alternate Route: Access Trenton from Elevado Avenue.

Carmelita/Elevado/Lomitas Ave. 

Westbound: limited closure at Walden Drive with local access to residents only from 7:00 am. on Sunday, January 7 through 1:00 a.m. on Monday, January 8.

Parking will be completely restricted (no exceptions) on Sunday, January 7, from 6:00 a.m. to midnight on the following streets:

-Whittier Drive: Wilshire Boulevard to Sunset Boulevard

-Greenway Drive: Sunset Boulevard to Whittier Drive

Parking will be limited to resident vehicles with a permit or exemption code on Sunday, January 7, from 6:00 a.m. to midnight on the following streets:

-Carmelita Avenue: Wilshire Boulevard to Walden Drive

-Lomitas Avenue: Whittier Drive to Walden Drive

-Elevado Avenue: Wilshire Boulevard to Walden Drive

-Trenton Drive: Whittier Drive to Wilshire Boulevard

-Walden Drive: Santa Monica Boulevard to Whittier Drive
