STUDIO CITY—A tree fell on a home in Studio City on Wednesday, March 21. The large tree crashed onto a home located on the 4200 block of Bluebell Avenue, blocking traffic. The tree damaged a neighboring fence and a nearby car.

The incident was captured on a surveillance feed, which shows the tree spread out across the street. City officials cut up the tree into smaller pieces to remove the debris, opening up access to the road. CBS Los Angeles reported that the tree spanned around 100 feet, and that its the fifth tree that has fallen in the region in recent years. The home is owned by Trevor Gerzst.

Officials suspect the tree fell as a result of heavy rain in the Los Angeles region last week. The storm lead to evacuations for many residents located in recent burn areas in the region.

There were no reports of any injuries from the tree collapse.
