STUDIO CITY—A truck driver was injured in a crash on Monday, December 9 after he lost control of his vehicle on Laurel Canyon Boulevard in Studio City.
The motorist was driving downhill on Laurel Canyon Boulevard at about 1:00 a.m. when he lost control of this truck and hit a tree. The vehicle rolled and landed on its side. The crash prompted a road closure in both directions of Laurel Canyon Boulevard at about 1:30 a.m. on Dona Pegita Drive. Authorities are unsure what the exact cause of the wreck was, but they speculate that speed may have been a factor.
Officials arrived at the scene to transport the driver to a nearby hospital. His condition is unknown. No other vehicles were involved in the incident. There were no other reports of any other injuries as a result of the crash.
