HOLLYWOOD—The question of rather Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) is alive or dead, was finally answered for audiences Sunday night, with episode 2 “I Found You.”  The writers played a bit of a trick on the audience, with the opening scene involving Jason (Ryan Kwanten) discovering the long lost Eric. As it turned out, it was a steamy sex dream Jason was having. “True Blood” is known for pushing the boundaries, and so did they in this twisted scene that saw Jason stumble from the church pew after realizing he was dreaming.

It became a fight for survival as Sookie (Anna Paquin) alerted Alcide (Joe Manganiello), Sam (Sam Trammell), Jason and Andy (Chris Bauer) that she saw a dead girl the previous night that she did not recognize. That led the crew to track down the body in hopes of learning just how far this H-vamp craze has traveled. Speaking of the H-vamps’ they fought amongst themselves about the shortage of food on hand, which prompted the gang to be on high alert. Arlene (Carrie Preston) spotted a familiar face amongst the crew, and implemented a plan to rescue herself and her friends.

Before taking off Andy reminded his daughter Adilyn to NOT let Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) into their home, little did he know it’s already happened, perhaps for the better. Lettie Mae (Adina Porter) still haunted by the death of Tara (Rutina Wesley) visited her nephew Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) to check on him. The two did not leave things on the best of terms, as he informed her that her odd behavior is not a result of Tara’s death. He informed his aunt that she has become hooked on V-blood. The two shared some very harsh words before she left his residence.

At Bellefleur’s, it was obvious a battle was brewing, as the humans decided once and for all they have to unite as one to protect themselves from vampires, werewolves and every other supernatural entity in the town. This frightened Adilyn who decided to flee with one of Holly’s sons to the police station. At the next town over, the crew discovered a virtual ghost town that has been eliminated thanks to the H-vamp crisis. The humans stormed the police station where Adilyn was attacked and used her faerie powers to protect herself, which caused her to be locked up. Things don’t look good, as Jessica came face-to-face with Andy who was none too pleased to find a vampire in his home.

I have a feeling this season many humans will perish, not just fan favorites. Lettie Mae fried her hand in the skillet in an attempt to get more blood fromWillow. This led the twisted one to have a strange vision of Tara on a white cross.  The final moments of the episode culminated with Sookie paying Bill a visit, asking him if he is still able to sense her if she’s in danger. Uh-oh, just what is Sookie planning? Things do not sound good if you ask me.

The question fans have been dying to know was answered in France as Pam stumbled across Eric who looked near death; he’s infected with the H-vamp disease and is refusing to accept blood. “You found me,” quipped a soft spoken Eric to Pam.  She was nearly left in tears after locating her creator. Just how did Eric get infected and where does this place the people of Bon Temps once they discover the news?  Can’t wait till episode three to find out what other surprises are in store for viewers. Until next Sunday “True Blood” lovers!
