SHERMAN OAKS—Authorities from the Los Angeles Police Department are continuing to search for two suspects in a robbery and double-shooting home invasion that occurred Wednesday, February 28, in a high-end Sherman Oaks neighborhood.

According to reports, two men were shot and wounded during the home invasion. Both victims were shot in the arm. One of the shooting victims was taken to the hospital shortly after the incident, while the other was treated by police at the scene. Both are listed in stable condition.

Police have described the suspects as two Hispanic males, who entered the property at roughly 6:00 a.m. Wednesday. They confronted the residents of the home, demanding money, before firing their weapons and striking the two men.

They fled the scene in two vehicles, a black Ford Expedition SUV and a black BMW 3-series. According to the home’s occupants, the suspects stole an unknown amount of cash and various items from the house. The residence, which is located at 15373 Valley Vista Boulevard, is known in the area where the luxury rental that is frequently leased to guests via Airbnb for $2,500 a night.

According to neighbors, the two suspects were guests at a party at the property, but left in the early morning hours. They returned several hours later, where they committed the robbery.
