WESTWOODA UCLA student was robbed while walking through Westwood Village on December 18.

The incident took place on the 10900 block of Strathmore Drive at around 2:37 a.m., where the student was attacked from behind by a pair of suspects. The victim was shoved to the ground, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and demanded the student’s cell phone and wallet at gunpoint.

The suspects, both characterized as black males, fled the scene in separate vehicles.

The first suspect is described between the ages of 20-25 and is approximately 170 pounds. He has a dark complexion and was wearing a navy blue, zipper-less sweater.

The second suspect is also described as being between the ages of 20-25, with long hair.

The first vehicle they fled in is described as an older, gold-colored sedan, possibly from the late 90s to early 2000s. The second vehicle is described as a damaged, dirty, old white van that seats between 10-12 people.
