WEST HOLLYWOOD—A driver for a valet company drove a customer’s Mustang into a West Hollywood home Wednesday, February 26.

The incident was reported just after 8:00 p.m. and is said to have transpired on the 8700 block of Rosewood Avenue. According to video, the driver of the Ford Mustang with the license plate “(heart)RDWINE” ran into the entryway of a two-story home causing significant damage to the vehicle and the house.

Officials describe this incident as an “accident” and determined that there was no indication of a DUI. The driver went back to the restaurant shortly after the collision and cooperated with police. A citation was not issued and no arrest were made. There were also no reports of injuries.

Investigators are looking into the cause of the crash. The names of the valet driver and the business who employed the valet have not been disclosed to the public.
