BEVERLY HILLSMy name is “Bodhi,” and seeing that everyone seems to be talking about my brindle coloring, I thought that I’d show it off!  I’m a Lab mix, and I was brought into the Friends of Animals Foundation with my friend “Yancy,” who is a Bassett Hound.  We’re both girls, and would really like to be adopted together, as we’d really miss each other if we were separated.
We both get along with other dogs, with cats, and with children.  We’re not aggressive in anyway, whatsoever, and we’re house trained.  I’ve overheard people say that we’re super sweet and super smart. That’s a good recommendation, isn’t it?  I love to swim and take long walks, and Yancy has learned how to ‘shake’ and do some other cute things.
When we go for walks together, we really stop traffic!  Me with my long legs, and Yancy with her short legs, and a body that’s low to the ground. We’re really quite a pair!
I guess that you’re wondering why we were given up if we’re so good.  Well, it was another case of our family losing their home.  They were extremely sad when they left us here, and so were we, but they knew that we would be safe and well cared for until a new loving home could be found for us.
I sure hope that we can be adopted together. I promise that we won’t give you any trouble. The only thing that I promise we will give you, is lots of love. So, won’t you please call for an appointment to see us?  Then you can take us for a walk and see for yourself what ‘traffic stoppers’ we are!
In case we’re not the ones for you, be sure to check our websites at: foafla.petfinder.com or friendsofanimalsfoundation.org, and you’ll see lots of other dogs, and lots of wonderful  cats, too, that are waiting for loving homes.
