BEVERLY HILLSMy name is Dewey, and I’m one of the many Chihuahuas that need a home.  I turned 2 years old on February 10, so I’m a young one.  I was given up, because of the usual reason given these days, the housing situation.  However, I’m so little, only about seven pounds, that I’m sure that a place could have been found where I would have been welcomed.  Oh, well, no sense in trying to figure it out.  I’m sure that there’s someone out there that will give me a loving home, and keep me forever.

I get along great with other dogs, and cats, and children.  I’m not aggressive in any way, and I’ll be glad to share my belongings. I have no separation anxiety, so there will be no barking or whining if you have to leave me alone for a while.  I’ll only bark to let you know that there is someone at the door.  You won’t have to worry about house training me, because that part is already taken care of.
I love to go for walks, I love to play, and I love to cuddle. I’ve heard people say some very nice things about me –  that I’m very cute, and that they love my big eyes!  What do you think?  Now that you know all that there is to know about me, won’t you please make an appointment to come to see me?  I’d love to meet you!
A few quotes for you to enjoy:

“Something that would make me remember what joy felt like.  Something miraculous, something magical, something I couldn’t believe existed.  Something like…a chihuahua?” – Mary Beth Crain

“You don’t own a chihuahua, the chihuahua owns you.” – Anonymous

“If you get to thinkin’ you’re a person of influence, try orderin’ somebody else’s chihuahua around.” – Browntrout Publishers

“If Chihuahuas were people, you’d find them in the hammock on sunny summer days, instead of hiking, canoeing or swimming.” – Jacqueline O’Neil.

I hope that you will call to see Dewey, and be sure to tell all of your friends that would like a dog or cat to check out our Web site at foafla.petfinder.com.  We have so many that are waiting for loving homes.
