BEVERLY HILLS—My name is “Hershey”, and I know it’s still a few weeks before Christmas, but I thought that maybe this would give you some ideas!  I’d love to be part of a family before Christmas so that we could all celebrate together.  Or, if you celebrate Hanukkah, I adapt very easily!
I was told that I was named “Hershey” because I’m very sweet, and another reason is that I love to give and get kisses.  I”m only about five pounds, so I”m very easy to pick up and carry around, but I do love to take short walks, too.
My rear legs are somewhat ‘bowed’, and when I came into the Friends of Animals Foundation they thought that something was wrong with them.  So, I was taken to the Veterinarian to be checked out and I was given a clean bill of health and passed with flying colors!
I’m not sure how old I am – maybe about three or four years.  I get along with other dogs, and I’m not the least bit aggressive.  So, won’t you please call to see me?
As I said before, I’d love to be settled in a forever home before the holidays.  It’s not a good idea to get one of us too close to Christmas because there’s too much confusion. People coming and going, which means doors opening, and when we’re not familiar with our surroundings we might just run out.  Also, we won’t be able to get the attention that we need to be taught the ‘rules and regulations’ of the household. So, a couple of weeks before – or after the holidays – is the best time to adopt one of us.
Please tell all of your friends that are thinking of adopting a dog or kitty cat to check our website at: foafla.petfinder.com, as there are so many of us that would love to spend the holidays, and the rest of our lives, with a loving family.
