BEVERLY HILLS—My name is “Luke”, and everyone says that I’m beautiful.  I do appreciate that description, however being a boy, I prefer to be called handsome!   For those of you that may not know, there are many types of Siamese cats, one being what I am – the Lynx Point.  We’re known for our resemblance – in looks only, that is – to the Siberian Tiger.  So, you can call us a tiger striped Siamese if you want to, although Lynx Point sounds much more, shall we say, sophisticated!

I’m five years old, very loving, but kind of shy, and prefer having you let me come to you on my terms.  Actually, isn’t that kind of a ‘cat’ thing, anyway? Just sit down, and I’ll be there before you know it.  I’m healthy, litter box trained, neutered, and up to date on all of my shots.  So, while I’m very well taken care of here, I sure would like to have someone to call my very own.

Oh, by the way, did you know that cat’s eyes come in three shapes – round, almond and slanted?  That was a sneaky way to be sure that you take notice of my slanted, blue eyes, wasn’t it?
I bet that you didn’t know that a cat will almost never “meow” at another cat, did you?  We reserve that sound for you humans.  And, we get a sense of security from your voice, so be sure to talk to us, okay? The more that you talk to us, the more we’ll talk to you. We can tell by the tone of your voice how you’re feeling about us, so we’ll know when you’re yelling at us – although we may not really care!
Oh, one more thing –  did you know that cats have five toes on each front paw, and four toes on their back paws?  Some cats are born with as many as seven front toes, and extra back toes.
See how smart I am?  Now, won’t you please call to see me?  I have lots of friends here, too, waiting to go to loving homes.  You can see them all if you go to our website at: foafla.petfinder.com.  Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to take a nap.
