WEST HOLLYWOOD—On June 16, the city of West Hollywood held a budget presentation seminar on the final step of their two-year Operating Budget and five-year Capital Work.

According to a press release from the City of West Hollywood, members of the City’s finance department hosted the event, providing “comprehensive information about revenues and expenditures included in the budget, key departmental goals, and new additions to the budget, including capital improvements.”

The presentation will discuss the 2014–2016 fiscal years. The year will start on July 1 and continue until June 30, 2016. The five key themes in this budget-planning cycle will be Technology, Arts, Human Services/Homelessness, Community Engagement, and new Eastside residents.

The public was allowed to attend the presentation that was held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the City of West Hollywood’s City Council Chambers/Public Meeting Room in the West Hollywood Library on 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard in West Hollywood, CA.
