WOODLAND HILLSThe West Hills Hospital & Medical Center and multiple doctors are being sued by the parents of a 21-year-old Woodland Hills woman, claiming their daughter died from brain and liver problems because she did not receive the proper treatment for her illness.

The parents of Anisa Farhadi, Tom Fahardi and Doris Mares, filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court.

According to a listed complaint, Farhadi checked herself into the West Hills Hospital on November 19 once she discovered that she was suffering from abdominal pain, nausea, and loss of appetite.

Farhadi died three days later on November 22.
