HOLLYWOOD—The Super Bowl on February 1, was full of intensity, excitement and celebrities. Legendary musician Sir Paul McCartney, John Travolta and Mark Wahlberg were some of the celebrities that were at the game. The New England Patriots were crowned the champions against Seattle Seahawks 28-24 and win their first title in a decade. Tom Brady joined the ranks of Terry Bradshaw and childhood idol Joe Montana as the only quarterbacks with four championship rings.

Brady, who is married to Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen, was also named MVP after laying on four touchdowns, including two in a frantic, intense fourth quarter, to give him a record 13 Super Bowl touchdown passes. An estimated 70,000 spectators in the University of Phoenix Stadium, Seattle Seahawks almost stole a dramatic late win after a circus catch by Jermaine Kearse put them deep in Patriots territory. It was also entertaining to watch Kim Kardashian in an ad that pokes fun of herself and her passion for selfies in a commercial for T-Mobile’s Data Stash. She jokes around about all the things people would be able to keep up with if they were able to stash the data they don’t use each month-her outfits, makeup and her holidays.

It’s hard to believe that it’s three years this month, that Whitney Houston passed away February 2012. It’s haunting that Bobbi Kristina Brown and her mother Whitney Houston, were both found face-down in bathtubs as the music industry prepared for the Grammy Awards. They both lived in the limelight of the entertainment industry.

As the musical star’s 21-year-old daughter lay hospitalized in a coma on February 2, police in Roswell, Georgia, issued an incident report saying only that they were called January 31 to her home in response to “a drowning,” and secured the scene for investigators, according to published reports. Ms. Brown was discovered by her husband Nick Gordon and a friend.

According to a family statement, Bobbi Kristina Brown is “fighting for her life.” She is surrounded by immediate family and they are requesting privacy. The family statement, as of press time, did not provide any other details on Ms. Brown’s condition. However, a source told CNN, that Brown, was placed in a medically induced coma.

Her mother, Whitney Houston died from accidental drowning in a bathtub at a hotel in Beverly Hills, California in  2012. Bobbi Kristina, then, 18, became so distraught after her mom’s passing that she needed to be hospitalized. Whitney was an incredible talent, a gospel singer’s daughter, won six Grammy awards and sold more than 50 million records in the US alone.

It was concluded by the coroner that heart disease and cocaine use contributed to the 48-year-old Grammy Award-winning singer’s death. Miss Houston left her entire estate to her only child, with the stipulation that she must wait until she is 30 to inherit everything. The terms of the will also stated, a trust administered by Houston’s family was to dole out money to Ms. Brown at ages 21 and 25. It was just last week, that Bobbi tweeted how much she missed her mom.
