HOLLYWOOD—Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department are asking for the public’s help to locate the four suspects responsible for attacking a 69-year-old woman to steal her Rolex watch. The incident occurred on October 30 at around 12:45 p.m., according to the LAPD blog.
Video surveillance captured the suspects who watched the victim park her car in the back alley on the 300 block of La Brea Avenue. A vehicle containing four suspects parked behind the victim and rushed her as she exited her vehicle.
Two of the suspects held the woman down, while another suspect used an unknown tool to cut the Rolex watch and a bracelet from her wrist, which caused a laceration. Police have described the suspects as White or Hispanic males standing approximately 6 feet tall and weighing around 220 pounds.
Police noted that the individual who cut the victim’s wrist while stealing her belongings was wearing a silver jacket and silver pants. One of the suspects who held the victim down was seen wearing a black hoodie and black pants. The third suspect was wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.
The fourth suspect was driving a mid 2000 black, four-door BMW 740IL with paper plates and tinted windows. The vehicle fled northbound from the crime scene. Officials from the LAPD Wilshire Robbery Detectives believe the suspects are connected to other robberies that have occurred in the region.
