MALIBU—A woman’s body was found at a lagoon off Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on Friday, December 20 launching an investigation into the cause of death.
According to Los Angeles County Fire Department, paramedics arrived at 23200 block of West Pacific Coast Highway around 12:49 p.m. after a report of a drowning was recevied.
Officials discovered the body at 1:02 p.m. The victim has only been described as female, and no details about the age or identity were disclosed.
Officials indicated that the body appears to have been there for a long period of time. The cause of death is still under investigation.
