SAN FRANCISCO—The driver of a white Toyota Corolla traveling the wrong way on Interstate 80 crashed into a vehicle before slamming into two other vehicles, in a head-on collision on Saturday, December 21.

According to the California Highway Patrol, four children were injured in the crash including a 17-year-old female that suffered minor injuries, a 35-year-old man, and a male in his 40s. A total of nine people were injured as a result of the crash; only one of the victims is listed in critical condition. Three of the victims are from Roseville, one from Suisun City and the others are from Fairfield.

The driver of the White Toyota Corolla has not been identified, but was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The names of the victim’s have not been released to the public.
