Life-threatening emergencies can happen fast, you may be able to save a life by taking simple actions immediately. Disaster preparedness training gives you the ability to react to situations so you can better protect yourself and assist others until responders arrive.

Belonging to a group of neighbors, who’ve trained together is the best way to protect your family. On Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 7pm to 8:30pm join your neighbors as we discuss how to coordinate a block response team. We’ll conduct this training in Highland Park at the Garibaldina Society (4533 N Figueroa St).

LAFD Battalion Chief Hector Hernandez will lead us in a discussion on disaster response.

Your local CERT Coordinator will coach us on how to develop block response teams that’ll protect up to 30 households.
