HOLLYWOOD—The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office announced on September 20 that actor Anthony Michael Hall, 49, of Playa del Rey entered no contest plea for pushing a neighbor, causing him to fall and break his wrist.

Deputy District Attorney Stephen Hodges indicated Hall entered the plea to one misdemeanor count of assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury in case SA094354.

He was sentenced to 3 years of summary probation and 40 hours of community service. The incident transpired in September 2016, when Hall and his neighbor got into an argument that culminated with Hall when the pushing the victim. The case was investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department, Pacific Division.

Hall is known for his roles in the classic films “The Breakfast Club,” “Sixteen Candles” and “National Lampoon’s Vacation.” He previously appeared in the Ben Affleck crime flick “Live by Night.”
