LOS ANGELES—The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office announced on Tuesday, November 5 that Gina Murray, 34, a former teacher at Los Angeles High School pleaded no contest to sexually molesting a student in 2018. Murray pleaded no contest to each crime, one count of lewd conduct upon a child and oral copulation of a minor age 16.

According to a press release from the LADA’s Office, in May 2018, Murray sexually assaulted a 15-year-old, while teaching at Estaban Torres High School.

Murray is expected to be sentenced on January 14, 2020, in Department 116 of the Foltz Criminal Justice Center. The defendant is expected to spend two years in state prison.
