HOLLYWOOD HILLS—”Harry Potter” is coming back to Hollywood. Universal Studios has officially announced that “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” will open at Universal Hollywood in spring 2016.

The Hollywood location will feature many of the same attractions as the Orlando, Florida and Osaka, Japan “Wizarding Worlds,” such as the family-friendly “Flight of the Hippogriff” ride, food and retail shops like Ollivander’s, Zonko’s Joke Shop, Three Broomsticks, Hog’s Head Pub and Hogwarts.

The land’s signature ride, “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey” will be upgraded to hyper-realistic 3D-HD for its West Coast debut, according to a press release. Complete with Quidditch-inspired 3D goggles, the flight-simulation ride will immerse Potter fans into the Wizarding World like never before.

Each park has its own highlight attraction: Osaka, Japan is enchanted with the “Black Lake,” as park-goers in Orlando, Florida are able to get lost in Diagon Alley.
