GRIFFITH PARK/PACIFIC PALISADES—Two hikers were injured in a pair of separate accidents in Griffith Park and Pacific Palisades on Saturday, February 7.

The first incident involved a woman who suffered an injury while navigating Griffith Park’s rugged terrain; she was airlifted from Griffith Park to a local hospital at approximately 12:05 p.m.

At this point the medical condition of both hikers is unknown.

Nearly an hour and a half later, a man suffered possible broken bones after taking a tumble in the Murphy’s Ranch area of Pacific Palisades. The 25-year-old hiker was also airlifted to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

The present medical condition of both hikers has yet to be released. Neither of the victims have been publicly identified.
