WOODLAND HILLS—Seven men connected to a home robbery were arrested by police officials on the 405 freeway near Winchester Saturday, August 10 at 2:10 p.m.

The home robbery transpired on 23300 block of Ladrillo Street in Woodland Hills on Woodlake Avenue and Valley Circle Boulevard. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, reports indicate a mother and her three children were held at gunpoint inside the home, as intruders demanded valuables, including jewelry, and the mother’s cell phone, before fleeing the scene in a white SUV. There were no reports of any injuries to the victims during the robbery.

Officers were able to locate the suspects with a tracking system on the cell phone taken from the home. The suspects were traced through the GPS traveling southbound on the 405 highway.

Officers closed lanes during the incident, which resulted in traffic backups as the assailants were instructed to exit the vehicle by authorities. Each suspect was placed under arrested and processed at the Van Nuys police station.

Authorities are still investigating the case. The names of the suspects have not been disclosed to the public. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Los Angeles Police Department. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
