LOS ANGELES—The Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery Homicide Division Special Assault Section is asking for the public’s help to identify a sexual predator. There have been 12 victims of kidnap and rape in Los Angeles County that occurred in the jurisdiction of the Los Angeles Police Department and Sheriff’s Department. The LAPD’s first case was in May 2017, and the most recent incident transpired on December 9. The victims range from 15 years of age to 46 years of age.

According to the LAPD Blog, the suspect picks up the women in south Los Angeles, takes them to a secluded region and sexually assaults them before letting them go. The suspect is described as an African-American male 40 to 50 years old, with a bald head and brown eyes. On occasions, During several attacks, he was seen wearing a beanie, a goatee or mustache, and salt and pepper colored hair. The weapon used by the suspect to threaten his victims is a black semi-automatic handgun.

The suspect drives either an older model 2-door black Dodge Ram truck with tinted windows, or white 4-door sedan, possibly a Toyota or a Nissan.
