LOS FELIZ–Actor/filmmaker Joseph Leonard Gordon-Levitt, 34, has just purchased a spacious 0.4-acre property in the exclusive Franklin Hills community of Los Feliz.

Built in 1940, the California ranch-style home was designed by renowned architect Paul Revere Williams. According to public records, the property was listed for the first time since 1957 in mid-January for $2.995 million and sold three weeks later for $3.25 million.

The 3,771-square-foot home has three bedrooms, four bathrooms and is packed with vintage features. The back yard includes a red brick terrace and swimming pool surrounded with a thin strip of flagstone terracing and an open-air cabana equipped with a changing room and bathroom.

Gordon-Levitt starred in movies such as “(500) Days of Summer,” “Inception,” and “GI Joe: The Rise of the Cobra.” In 2013, he wrote, directed and starred in his first feature film, “Don Jon,” which starred Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore, and Tony Danza, and premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
