LOS ANGELES—LAPD officials are currently searching for a shooting suspect who killed one person and injured three in the Hollenbeck area on Saturday, April 29.

A shooting was reported just after 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of Murchison Street and Lancaster Avenue near the Ramona Gardens housing project. Upon arrival, officers discovered four people suffering from gunshot wounds. The suspect, an unidentified male, approached and confronted the group before firing several gunshots.

The victims were taken to local hospitals by LAFD paramedics. One of the victims, 32 year-old Joselito Ulloa, succumbed to his injuries. The other three victims, two males and one female, whose identities have not been disclosed were released from the hospital after being provided treatment.

Authorities are currently searching for the suspect, who was last seen driving a four-door dark colored sedan with tinted windows. He has been described as an adult Hispanic male. This is reportedly the second fatal shooting this year to have taken place near Ramona Gardens.
