BRENTWOOD—Fashion designer, author, and former reality star Lauren Conrad listed her Brentwood home for $4.495 million, Variety first reported on Friday, August 11.

Conrad purchased the 4,303-square-foot home for $3.7 million in April 2013. The house was renovated for a previous owner by “Flipping Out” reality star Jeff Lewis.

Built in 1959, the residence sits on a 12,000-square-foot lot and features six bedrooms, five bathrooms, a step-down living room with a wood-burning fireplace, and a dine-in, galley-style kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Throughout the property are en suite bathrooms, dark hardwood floors, and French doors. Outside, private gates offer seclusion from the public. The private backyard contains a patio and provides ample space for a swimming pool, according to Trulia.

Conrad previously owned a 2-bedroom duplex penthouse in Beverly Hills, which she purchased in 2012 for $1.25 million and sold in early 2016 for $2.8 million. In May 2017, she sold a Pacific Palisades home for $4.75 million, which she acquired in 2015 for $4.4 million. In 2011, she sold her Spanish-style home in Hollywood Hills for $2 million. The residence, which gained fame during her years on the reality show “The Hills,” was purchased in 2008 for $2.36 million. Currently, she owns two properties in her hometown of Laguna Beach, one of which she purchased in 2009 for $2 million, and the second she acquired in 2014 for $8.5 million.

The fashion designer and reality star rose to prominence after appearing on the MTV reality series “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” in 2004, and her own spin-off series, “The Hills,” from 2006 to 2009. In 2009 and 2011, she launched the fashion lines LC Lauren Conrad and Paper Crown. She released her first novel, “L.A. Candy,” in 2009 and its sequels “Sweet Little Lies” and “Sugar and Spice” in 2010. In 2012, she released her fourth novel, “The Fame Game,” and its sequel “Starstruck.” In 2015, the designer released Disney-inspired collections and an upscale runway collection for LC Lauren Conrad.

On July 5, 2017, Conrad and her husband, entertainment lawyer and former member of the rock band Something Corporate, welcomed their newborn son, Liam James Tell.
