LOS ANGELES—The Los Angeles Police Department reported on Monday, November 27 that a man was fatally stabbed after leaving a liquor store on November 24 in South Los Angeles. Detectives with the LAPD South Bureau Homicide reported at around 11:30 p.m., 77th Street Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of an “Ambulance Cutting” at 8400 South Main Street.
The LAPD indicated after arriving on the scene, they discovered the victim on the sidewalk, suffering from a stab wound. Paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded and transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. The name of the victim has not been released to the public.
Detectives are attempting to identify a Hispanic male who the victim had a verbal interaction with outside the liquor store prior to the stabbing. The suspect appears to be in his 20s and was wearing a dark colored hoodie.
The suspect(s) fled the scene and a motive for the stabbing has not been disclosed.
