WOODLAND HILLS- A man who was walking through the 101 freeway lanes in Woodland Hills, was taken into custody on January 12, 2020.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was seen in a video posted by CHP West Valley’s Twitter account, walking in and out lanes, as well as laying down in lanes and even jumping in front of cars.
CHP received over thirty 911 calls regarding this individual, which prompted officers to take the male into custody and later to a hospital to receive a mental health evaluation. No injuries were reported. Canyon News reached out to CHP for further comment and is awaiting response.
