PACIFIC PALISADES—Steve Burke, CEO of NBCUniversal, has bought a bluff-top home in the Pacific Palisades for $22 million.

The house, located where Corona Del Mar meets Altada Drive, has four bedrooms, four fireplaces, six full bathrooms, and two half baths in its 9,500 square feet. The master suite includes a library and private office. The property also features a bar and elevator.

The elevator accesses the home’s lower level, with amenities including a gym, a theater, and an “all-purpose room.”

According to the listing, the outside space is as much a selling point as the luxuries inside. “Gorgeous entertainment rooms open to gardens and the mesmerizing sea,” reads the listing, where residents and visitors can enjoy panoramic views stretching from Malibu to Palos Verdes. The gardens themselves have been set up as almost an outdoor living room, with recliners and tables, in addition to “an enchanting allee of olive trees.”

The house was built in 1929, and has been “remodeled and transformed, with fresh, innovative style.” The ivy-covered façade adds a classic touch to the interior’s blend of modern and traditional architecture.

Burke and his wife Gretchen also maintain a secondary residence in New York City in Harperley Hall—best known as the building Madonna famously lived in. The Burkes’ former Brentwood residence, which they listed at nearly $9.7 million, is currently in escrow. Their Philadelphia townhouse is still on the market for $4.75, $1.1 million less than they paid for it in 2010.
