PACIFIC PALISADES—Banc of California will be hosting the fourth annual Turkey Trot 2016 on Thanksgiving Day and registration is still open for interested parties.

Both the 5K and 10K race will begin at 8 a.m. and medals will be available at the finish line; the race lasts about two hours. Children participating in the 5K race must donate $25 to enter, while adults 18 and over must donate $35. For the 10K race, children must donate $30 and adults $40.

The start and finish of the race will take place in Dolphin Stadium at Palisades Charter High School, where entrants can gather once the gates open at 6:45 a.m.

Temescal Canyon Road will be closed during the race for the safety of the runners – entrance to Temescal Canyon Road will only be available from Sunset Boulevard.

The Pacific Palisades Turkey Trot will benefit the Hearts with Hope Foundation, a non-profit that works to provide for children living with congenital heart disease around the world. The race will also benefit the Los Angeles Food Bank. The event is sponsored by Banc of California, which works with businesses, entrepreneurs and homeowners.
