BEVERLY HILLS—The Beverly Hills Police Department is investigating the discovery of a body of a woman near 250 North Canon Dr. located near the Rodeo Drive shopping district.

The BHPD were notified of the body on Monday, January 25. Canyon News spoke to Lt. Lincoln Hoshino of the BHPD who indicated at approximately 8:24 a.m. they received a call of a man down. Upon arrival it was discovered that the victim was a female.

According to reports, authorities suspect the victim might be homeless. No specific details about the age of the victim or the cause of death have yet been made public.

The Los Angeles Times reported the victim was known to frequent the region and her body was found near the offices of Hilton & Hyland, the high-end real estate brokerage co-founded by hotel heir Rick Hilton.

Charles Black, vice president of marketing and strategic development at the firm told the LA Times, “We knocked on the window and there was no activity and decided to call police.”

Lt. Hoshino informed Canyon News that the coroner is now handling the case and a name for the victim has not yet been disclosed.
