STUDIO CITY—At around 1:30 a.m. on Friday, June 12,  Rapper YG, 25, was shot multiple times at a Studio City recording studio. He was transported to Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, but refused to reveal to authorities the name of the person who shot him.

While at the recording studio, YG was shot three times in the hip. The rapper was able to make it to his car, where he was driven to the hospital by another individual. Police were called to the 3400 block of Cahuenga Boulevard West with reports of gun shots fired. Gun shell casings and blood on the sidewalk were found, but they did not find any victims or suspects on the scene.

According to police, YG was uncooperative. No one was with the rapper when police appeared at the hospital for questioning, and he was unwilling to say who shot him or who drove him.
