SHERMAN OAKS—On Wednesday, February 27, actor Luke Perry, 52, suffered a massive stroke. Officials were called at 9:30 a.m. to the actor’s home in Sherman Oaks. Currently, Perry is in a medically induced coma at Cedar’s Sinai Hospital.
TMZ reported that Perry’s rep indicated that the actor is not in a coma, but has ben sedated.
Perry is best known for his work on the 90s hit “90210.” He currently stars on the hit CW series “Riverdale.”

It was recently announced on FOX that a reboot of the original “90210” is set to return to TV. Perry has not signed on to star in the reboot, but his former co-stars Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Brian Austin Green and Gabrielle Cateries have all signed on for the reboot.
Friends and co-stars took to social media to send Perry well wishes and a speedy recovery.
