BEVERLY HILLS—Two high-end retailers, Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus had purses stolen during a robbery on Saturday, August 10 around 2 p.m. 

Authorities reported that there were four suspects in the Saks Fifth robbery. The suspects allegedly stole about $40,000 worth of merchandise. Saks Fifth Avenue is located on the 9600 block of Wilshire Boulevard.

Neiman Marcus, also in close proximity to Saks was robbed of several high-end purses over the weekend as well by two suspects. A juvenile was taken into custody by the Beverly Hills Police Department, the Los Angeles Times first reported.

Authorities have indicated that both incidents are not related. No other details about the suspects have been disclosed to the public.
