BEVERLY HILLS—On Saturday, August 4, the Beverly Hills Police Department apprehended the suspects allegedly connected to multiple vehicle burglaries in the region. The police caught the suspects after their vehicle crashed.

Following the crash, the suspects attempted to flee on foot from a 2018 white Dodge Charger, but were unsuccessful. The BHPD reported the arrest on their Instagram page.

The vehicle crashed into part of a construction project on Wilshire at Le Doux. The front bumper and hood of the vehicle were significantly damaged in the collision.

“The vehicle occupants, believed to be the suspects involved in the burglary from motor vehicles, immediately exited the vehicle [after the crash]. Again, an attempt to flee police apprehension on foot, was short lived,” said the BHPD on its Instagram page.

Beverly Hills PD told Canyon News “There were two occupants in the vehicle – driver and a passenger.” According to Lt. Albanese, both suspects are from Oakland, California. The driver was 25 year old Komarai Glenn Anderson. Anderson’s facing charges of 245(c)PC – Assault with a deadly weapon (vehicle), 459PC – Vehicle Burglary, 496(a) PC – Receiving Stolen Property, 466 PC – Possession of Burglary Tools, and 148 PC – Resisting a Police Officer.

The passenger was 32 year old Joseph Byers McWoodson. He is facing charges of 459PC – Vehicle Burglary, 496(a) PC – Receiving Stolen Property, 466 PC – Possession of Burglary Tools, and 148 PC – Resisting a Police Officer.
