UNITED STATES—North Carolina conservatives showed up early for a rally for President Donald in Fayetteville, North Carolina on Monday, September 9.
President Trump flew into coastal NC hours before the rally to inspect the damage caused by Hurricane Dorian. His plans were altered due to the threat of bad weather. Democratic Governor Roy Cooper briefed President Trump aboard Air Force One indicating three people were killed by the storm and 3,500 people without power.
Multiple news reports state that people began lining up 48 hours in advance of the “Get Out and Vote” Trump Rally to be held at the Crown Expo Center in Fayetteville. A record crowd showed up filling the expo center.
President Trump showed up for his 2020 to promote the election of Dan Bishop who is running for Congressional seat in NC-09 and Greg Murphy in NC-03.
Bishop is running against Dan McCready, who Trump called McCready an “Ultra-Liberal,” and said vote for the “Right Dan, Vote for Dan Bishop.”

President Trump encouraged supporters to get out and vote on Tuesday, September 10. He spoke of holding sanctuary cities accountable for the crimes being committed by criminal illegal aliens where law enforcement who will not cooperate with the U.S. Immigration and Customs for removal.
President Trump also discussed with supporters at the rally about progress for the border wall, which he expects to have 500 miles complete by 2020. He joked to the crowd that he should run three terms. The 22nd amendment, which was ratified in 1951, prevents any President of the United States from running more than two consecutive terms.
