HOLLYWOOD—A 12-year-old boy with autism, Kaylan Smith, was found on Monday, June 22 riding a Metro train after his family reported him missing on Father’s Day. Smith was found by Los Angeles County Sheriff Deputies around noon.

Rosario Herrera told Canyon News the boy was last seen near the 800 block of North Heliotrope Street in east Hollywood around 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Herrera was unable to provide information on the location of the train where deputies found Smith or further information surrounding his disappearance. Smith is reported to be in good health.
