HOLLYWOOD HILLS—The Japanese mansion built in 1914 in the Hollywood Hills is known today as the Los Angeles landmark restaurant Yamashiro. The establishment opened its doors in the early 1960s. A lesser known attraction of Yamashiro is the Night Market that takes place every Thursday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and runs from May 22 until September 4.

While small in size, the quality of the products and the experience is enhanced via live music that conveys the importance of local farmers and vendors. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a range of veggies and fruits, as well as clothes, candles and other items and accessories. Food trucks are also available on site.

One of the main attractions of the Yamashiro Night Market is its view from the Hollywood Hills over the rest of the city of Los Angeles. Regulars of the Yamashiro Night Market recommend to park at the Mosaic Church for a price of $5 and take a free shuttle up the hill.

To enjoy the Yamashiro Night Market, dinner reservations can be made in advance. To learn more details visit https://yamashirohollywood.com/nightmarket.
