BEVERLY HILLS—A judge sentenced a man for 620 years after committing a series of robberies. The man, Alonzo Harris, also goes by Felton Bradford, has a series of convictions that go back to 3 decades ago. He was convicted last September for 37 counts. The multiple counts include, attempted robbery, robbery, false imprisonment and possession of a firearm. He committed violent robberies around the Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley.

Deputy District Attorney Jack Garden with the Crimes against Peace Officers Section who was the prosecuting Harris, said Alonzo Harris, “was extremely violent.”

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephen A. Marcus said, “You have someone who’s basically a crime machine,” and he also added, “His entire life has been filled with crime.”

Harris was captured with a second suspect following a failed takeover robbery on July 11, 2008 at Lawry’s The Prime Rib restaurant on La Cienega Boulevard in Beverly Hills.

Harris and co-defendant Floyd Nelson fled the scene after a failed attempt in making the chef open the safe. At the time, Harris and Nelson were under surveillance by the cops. They were arrested by the Los Angeles Police.

Nelson was convicted by the same jury on three counts and was sentenced for 50 years in the state prison.

Los Angeles and Beverly Hills police departments investigated the case.
