WOODLAND HILLS—Rams Village at Warner Center could begin construction as soon as 2027, provided the city approves the project, according to sources cited by the New York Post. Demolition of the Woodland Hills Promenade began in January and was finished in August, clearing the site for the new $10 billion construction. The plan includes building the Rams’ permanent headquarters and training facility, more than three million square feet of residential space, and nearly 2 million square feet of hotel, office, retail, and indoor entertainment venues.
The project will include more than 3,100 homes. If construction begins in 2027, it would take roughly a decade to complete Rams Village. Rams owner Stan Kroenke has made it his mission to give the LA Rams a permanent base. Their current practice field in the Warner Center is a temporary facility made of modular trailers and grass fields.
Kroenke purchased The Promenade for about $150 million, the Anthem tower for about $175 million, and The Village for $325 million. That’s about $650 million in land. The larger aim of this project is to turn the Warner Center into the “downtown of the Valley.”
