BEVERLY HILLS—The 2016 Summer Olympic Games will be held in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. At the iconic Beverly Hilton on Sunday, March 6, the Team USA opening reception kicked off a 3-day summit to introduce the athletes who will represent the United States in the 2016 Rio games.
Over 111 athletes will be on hand to share their stories and journeys of inspiration.
The Aqua Star Pool Deck of the hotel was transformed into a Rio themed celebration. Giant orbs floating in the pool, palm trees were bathed in neon lights. In the relaxed setting the athletes mingled with family, friends and journalists from around the world.
An Olympic Memoribilia Display will feature artifacts from the U.S. Olympics archives, including Los Angeles 1932 and ’84. This display is inside the Beverly Hills Hilton.
